YESSSSSS! The Doors are awesome, but it was a cover of Kurt Weill (1930) song, just so you know. But the Doors are still my fave (besides Zeppeilin!)

nothing special!? Thats blashpemy, they changed the face of rock. JIm was one of the best singers/live performer in rock history.
1) He's right, they were nothing special. 2) They didn't change the face of rock. 3) They were a mediocre band at best, fronted by a drunk, arrogant, often belligerent poet with good looks and a lot of luck. 4) That's all.
not everyone likes the doors, and it seems doors fans often get their panties up in a wad when someone thinks differently than they do. They were a mediocre band with mediocre musicians.... I think the only reason why they have so many followers is because of jim morrison's early death. why cant you people tolerate others opinions??
