i was really touched about your story. im sorry you had to go though with all of that... you made me open up and realise alot more, my mom is always saying things like how they need to get a job and not use drugs and maybe they would not be on the streets and i realise its not that easy. have you talked to your parents at all since they kicked you out? peace and love

 

thank you so much for all your kind words! i tried several times to call my parents (not long after I was kicked out), but my mom always told me it would be best if i just stopped calling. that i was a great disappointment to them. also, i sent letters and cards. but never heard back from them (i had a p.o box i rented just for that purpose). so i decided to respect their wishes, and have not spoken w/them since. the thing that hurt me the most, was when my own father called me a whore, and told me i was going to burn in hell when i died. when i do have children (and i will, after i am older) i will offer them only love and compassion. because i know what it feels like to be unloved by your own parents. thanks again for your kind words and interest in my story.

Most of these little pussies who want to run off at the mouth about "victims" have always had their little asses wiped clean by mommy and their little loud mouths fed by daddy's wallet. Some of them just want to be assholes because it makes their small dicks feel bigger.

they are a ton of homeless people where i live. i know a lot of the homeless families, its heartbreaking some of the shit people have to go through. my parents & i have gone through similar situations though. crashing in parks, peoples garages, having to steal food. i cherish my home & my family more than anything because i know if we were to be evicted it would be right back to square one & we would all be seperated. it makes me sick the way everyone thinks that all homeless people are just dirty useless people & its all their fault. that is so untrue. most just got off to a bad start

how very true! and thank you for offering your insight to this discussion. it's wonderful to find compassionate people like you, that are not so quick to judge (and condemn) the homeless. honestly, most of us are just one paycheck away from being homeless. given the current political climate. so a little compassion will go a long way. especially when homelessness really can happen to anyone now. (unless you are way wealthy, and a favorite of herr bush. and get all the best tax breaks. whoops. did i actually say that? my bad.) thanks again for your compassion and insight!

thank you, kind sir! but don't worry about me. i can take care of myself. otherwise, i would never have lasted close to two years on the streets.

regarding the smug fools that have no idea what it means to be homeless: let us hope it never happens to them? because they are too weak to last very long. i'd give them a week. at the most.

yes, i am strong. a survivor. and not afraid to speak my mind. and you are right: bush is the worst president (screw him big time!) that we have ever had to endure. interesting that he calls himself a christian? wtf? when he is only a self-serving cretin, that kisses up to the wealthy, and picks the pockets of the poor, huh?

personally, i think he should be in a straitjacket asap. or else in prison. lol. and in the meantime, christ is turning over in his grave. what does robbing the poor have to do with anything jesus taught us? and i am an atheist! and i can see all the shameless dishonesty and selfishness. i appreciate your kindness and support much. but i knew there would be several reactionary cockroaches crawling out of the woodwork. my hipforums friend already warned me. and he signed up more than a year ago. this sort of thing never would have happened when janis joplin and jefferson airplane were telling it like it is!
