The ones with the dude in the chair making fun of the people in the office? My description blows, but if you've seen them, you'll know what I mean.

Is it just me, or do they always make really awful commercials? No just annoying like the regular ones, but really badly written.

I really happen to like Subway's low-carb wraps as veggie delites.... But that's just my opinion. I think Quizno's is good, but a tad bit overrated.

    Just my take.

When I was a vegetarian, my favorite thing in the world was swiss cheese, lettuce, and ranch dressing on parmesan bread...mmm. Hehe.

In Canada, at least in Ontario they're showing these new Subway commercials featuring Jared Foggle (the guy who supposidely lost a ton of weight by eating Subway) giving husky figured boys foot longs.

Jared Foggle looks a little heavier than he did before.
Not eating Subway anymore are we Jared?

The new commercials annoy me, but it doesn't mean I'll stop eating there...
    And Quiznos?

The commercials they had a while back, with the dead mice?
    No way.

I really don't like subways new commercials, that guy is REALLY starting to annoy me.

And yeah what was up with those Quizno's commercials a while back with the little rats? That was so fucking disturbing. Who thought that was a good idea for a FOOD commercial??

But really.. when are commercials good? Whoever comes up with the ideas for most commercials, and whoever approves them, usually are suspected by me to be on drugs or crazy or stupid.

Uh huh. I was thinking that he wasn't doing the commercials anymore because he started to gain the weight back.

It could a been because people were just sick of him.

One of my kids went in there for a sandwhich (teenagers they eat anything) and she asked for turkey, and the womyn at the counter was putting baloney on it, and when my dd said, "NO, I wanted turkey." They womyn said, in a Indian accent, "It's all turkey." Bleh.

LOL well do you blame Jared? I couldn't handle eating the same shit everday either!!!

That's why diets are lame... just like the Atkins shit and all of that, you have to keep eating the same crap over and over just to keep the weight off. Screw that.

I like Subway and all, but I could NOT eat it everyday..... I start getting sick of it if I get in a rut of eating there as much as once a week.

I was at a comedy club recently, and the dude (I forget his name) did a routine on Subway employees. It was hilarious. A few excerpts that I can remember... though a lot of the humor won't come across well...

"Ever notice that all Subway employees are stoners? I mean, it takes EIGHT of them to make your sandwich, they're so high. Like the first guy, all he does is ask what type of bread you want. Then after the team of Eight makes your sandwich, you get all the way down to the end, and they've already forgotten what sandwich they just made for you. They have to ask you what you bought. To top it off, they even ROLL up the sandwich like it's a JOINT. They even lick it and twist the ends."

My daughter and her bf work at a Subway, and she loved my interpretation of the routine, too bad she wasn't there to hear it. But it was pretty accurate, LOL.

I like their food. A lot of it is gross, but if you order the right thing it's good. I do not, however like their marketing team. They should be shot.
