honestly, i just don't know what to do anymore? i've petted it, and let it know i think it is really something sweet. i've given it plenty of fancy feast, and even let it sleep in my bed w/me last night. but it still is very fussy, and seems unhappy w/everything i try to do to please it? has this happened to anybody else? and should i just keep on loving it, and hope for the best? has this happened to anybody else's pussy cat? i just got her two weeks ago. so i am trying to be patient and understanding. can you please give me some advise? thanks! jenny
well, the females we have were fixed for $80 i think - somewhere around there. i'd get her fixed, especially if theres a male around...
oh, i stroke her plenty. especially while we are watching american idol (she curiously loves that lame ass show). but she hates it when i try and give her a bath. even when i tell her it's for her own good. so i am at a total loss now? is she just being stubborn? i mean, fancy feast is pretty damn expensive. and i've bought several different flavors for her. but she acts all insulted and everything? and just walks away from her food dish. so what's her problem? or maybe i should just try and be more patient and understanding? thanks! jenny
lol. you are so cute. you really made me smile. she's actually a pretty high falutin' pussy: i got her from a friend of a friend. and she's a persian blue (even though her fur is actually more of a gray color). i tried that cheap 9 lives stuff. before the fancy feast. and she just won't eat. i'm really worried about her. yes, she is totally stubborn. but really sweet and pretty. so i don't want to write her off as a lost cause. any other ideas? i appreciate it much. thank you. jenny
If you are serious, Persians are known to be fussy eaters. If your cat has a generally poor appetite this may be an indication of underlying disease which may need to be investigated and treated. It would be best to visit your vet and discuss this after he or she has examined your cat. If your cat is just fussy, then you may need to offer commercial cat food but no liver and do your best to encourage your cat to eat this. If your cat is not interested in the food that you offer, you should remove it and offer some fresh food a few hours later. Leaving uneaten food can put some cats off eating it in the future as it often becomes dry and unappetising. Warming the food, or adding Marmite or fish oil may help to make the diet more appealing to your cat.
I would let it get really hungry and then feed her some of that cheap ass dry food. That'll teach her ... some pussies think they own you.
Is honesty and truth the same thing? hmmm... There's one to ponder. I mean honesty is saying what you feel to be right. Truth... is truth an absolute? Isn't truth the perception of reality based on each individual? I really should be asleep right now. Sorry folks.
