Any suggestions to how to make my All Stars look more worn out than they really are.
The thick white rubber is just annoying.

Climb a tree, jump off a hot roof into a puddle then step in some dog shit.

if you know the basics of needlepoint (or you could easily learn some) you could stitch somthing into them. that doesnt really help the plastic but theres always markers.

    griptape
run over them with a car

    or

what always works for me is to actually try to keep them clean. never fails, if i try to keep new shoes clean, they'll start looking worn in a lot faster.

Put them in a cement mixer with a lot of wet mud and abrasive rocks.
Spin for an hour, then run them through a rinse cycle in your washing machine.

You could tie them onto the back of a car or a push-bike and go around the block too.
