I guess this is where we post what we have in our rooms??? I am currently running a 400watt MH/HPS switachable ballast, currently in flowering so I am using the HPS......for air movement I use a small 8 inch fan at one end with a bigger oscilating fan at the other end........For odor control I use a charcoal filter linked to a fan that I bought from Home Depot for 13$, I plan on getting a couple more in the near future to be sure there is no smell escaping the room.....I am growing 3 plants in an aero-ponic kit and 3 plants in soil.....I went to the store last night and picked up Mylar to cover the walls with....and as far as nutrients go, I am in flowering and am currently using a 1 part hydro solution, I think it is 7-10-5, but i could be wrong, something close to that though. I think that covers everything, anything else you think would be benefical let me know, I am always willing to hear about improvements. one last thing i am currently shopping for a nice ventilation fan with a filter so i keep the doors closed at all times without the room getting too hot, Lucky me there is a 4inch duct exiting the ceiling of the room that goes out the roof of the house, like it was meant to be. Oh yea i also have a digital humidity and temperature guage, a must!!

Sounds like solid setup. I haven't had to worry about smell yet, the filter system you decribe sounds cheep easy and workable, the only thing I might suggest stacking the filters and taping the edges so they won't leak, that is if smell gets bad, do you recirculate filtered air?

yea the air is recirculated. it just goes in the filter and back out the other side. the filter itself hangs in the room above the plants. stacking a few filters together isnt a bad idea...thanks

I read it somewhere exept they built a box and used furnace filters with charcoal sprinkled between each, but you're idea sounds just as good and less work.

I though about buying some of the charcoal filters that go into ur furnace and attaching them to box fans...instead I went to the store again and priced my dayton ventialtion setup with a charcoal filter on it. A little costly but its all worth it in the end.

Stinky weed is the best. It's like the difference between cheese wiz and brie.
Why would you want to hide that delicious aroma? :p
I wish I could bottle it.
