The days go by, the faces change,
The world didn't used to seem so strange.
Old lessons learned mean nothing now,
'Cause all the rules have changed somehow.

As we grow up, our old worlds die.
Some move on, some live a lie.
Which is better? I couldn't say,
'Cause with knowledge there comes a price to pay.

Ignorant bliss leaves a craving for more,
But questioning life opens up a door-
In your mind that you cannot close,
And now you want an answer that noone knows.

So hide away from the thought of your end,
Or try and see what's around the bend.
The choice is each of ours to make:
You can stay asleep, or you can stay awake.

I really like this, the first stanza really feels familiar to me, I can really relate to what it's saying. Good stuff man. :)

Not true(*winks*). Both states are equally illusory. It is the interplay between the two, and their inevitable juxtaposition, that makes for Ecstacy. I'm going to go back to sleep now.

    Have A Nice Day!
