Ok ok I am 27 now but man oh man I still love that book like I did the very first time that I read it. Maybe its the rhyming scheme or maybe its the freaky looking dude who doesn't want to eat the green eggs and such but I am still fascinated by that book! I bought it for my son and we read it all the time. In fact the other day I saw this buddy wearing a t-shirt with all the places where buddy won't eat the stuff but he can't remember where he got it but I love that shirt! But I love the book more!
My son loves this book,he is 3. My daughter, who's 12, has alot of issues with it though. Like she says "maybe that guy is a vegetarian or maybe he's Kosher, why is Sam I am pushing ham on him anyway? If eggs and ham are green maybe you SHOULDN'T be eating them, blah blah blah" guess my point is they sure grow up too fast, man.
i read this book again today on Work Experience. (I'm in a library) I found it about 5 minutes before closing time, it's just perfect for the kid's that are coming down to the library tomorrow to learn all about poetry and rhyming. I love the whole meaning of it aswell.
lol i reckon in a few years she'll be popular on all the controversial topics here on the hip forums They do grow up fast but it's lovely to see how this 12 year old is turning out. It could be worse, right?
