it's 11:30pm my friends are watching fucking drivel on tv.
    I'm now going to bed.

Fuck Friday night sex show, scrubs and That 70's show. I wish the parties responsible would suffer the agony of watching their own programs.

i'm a big fan of killing tv's, though it takes a lot more effort than you think. those cocksucking screens are so thick. rocks bounce off of them and you need a pretty big stick and a hard swing to actually break it.. but the tube will inplode when it is punctured which is pretty cool.

I'm pretty much stick to CNN, ESPN and the major networks to watch sports. Occasionally I'll tune into Comedy Central for the Daily show or Colbert Report, but that's about it. I wish you could buy cable ala-carte. I probably watch a total of 10 channels and pay for over a hundred

I think tv serves its purpose, and sometimes well, gotta have the good cable though

to turn off your brain and watch, only tv allows such a thing

i'm taking an art history/cultures class in uni and today i saw a show all about that type of thing
    it was awesome
and i absolutly love films and i can watch many indy films on tv that i would never get to otherwise

Okay for those who care, I went home and slept.
As for TV, I don;t watchi it. I have one in my home that basicly worrks as a fancy ass monitor for my computer when i want to watch DVD's.

But serriously, books. The inter net is TV in a different format. Fewer commercials lower quality programing.

and those are among the least crappy things on there. everything else is even worse, with the possible exception of farscape and trek reruns.

unless you get cable. then atleast you can watch cartoons and the weather channel. like that's a big woopie that's supposed to be worth paying for.

i am so glad and thankful that at least i don't have to live with more then one person and that one person is willing to allow the damd thing to not be turned on. (and if it wasn't her's there probably wouldn't be one in the house)

some people say people like me are exagerating but i honestly feel less depressed the longer i go without turning it on. and there's no longer anything on there i really feel i have to turn it on for.

hmmm feeling like you have to; isn't that what an addiction is?

i know my mom's watching it is/was defacto an addiction. but i also understand how that happend. it WAS here only escape. well she's got her own life now, and guess what; she's even able to turn it off occasionaly when people come by to say hi to her.

still i'm glad i'm living with my wife and not my mom and not having to watch the damd thing at all.

gettin on here or playing with autocad or a train sim, or even silly little solitare and mine sweeper games is more gratifying, at least to me.

(i'd say the internet is HIGHER quality programing. but of course that depends on what you do on here and what your standards of measurement are. the kind of websites i freequent, are virtualy ALL of higher quality then anything on the tube. even the most retarded blogger is more amusing then 2/3 of corporate media. and i very seldom visit blogs. just forums and galleries and places about things that interest me. something you get to choose on the net, way more then you even potentialy ever can or will with broadcast media)
