So yesterday I had to take the alternate AP English Language and Composition Exam, and I thought I was screwed. Almost everyone in that class thought they were. We weren't prepared, and our teacher, just a lazy bitch. Anyway so I decided to smoke up at home before I went to school. Got a nice high, went to school, had to go to short practice cause I play trumpet in school band. That didn't work out too well. Anyway chilled some more, was so tired I thought then that maybe smoking was a bad idea before a huge exam... Got in the exam room, and WOW. I only left like 2-3 mutiple choice blank out of 53, was very confident on the rest of my answers too. And then for the 3 essays I wrote so much. I only ended up leaving blank like 1/2 of a page or so in the whole booklet. I loved my second essay so much. I think it's the best I've ever wrote. And I wasn't even stressing for time at all, finished my first essay in less then 30 mins. I felt such creativity and flow of ideas. Who else has nice stories of weed helping them out?
for me AP english can be hard, i am a junior right now. they make the test seem like a monster of incomprehensible difficulty, and its not that bad lol. i always think my essays suck but everyone thinks they are good, i dont go to class high so ive never written any essays in class being high, but i do at home and they are pretty good. i hope you rocked the shit out of that thing and got 8's and 9's on the essays. what were the prompts?
I did that once on an english exam, the only problem i found was that i coulndt remember certain words.
Nothing beats adderall before a big exam. I took 40 mg before my back to back AP economics exams and my mind didn't wander once. On an interesting little side note, the two exams combined lasted 4 hours and 20 mins.
I wouldn't have a college degree if it weren't for weed, I smoked an ounce a week and got good grades, went to every class blazed. I got a degree in Journalism which goes great with weed, not so sure about math and weed, but writing and creativity for me, weed has always enabled me.
No offense, but you should wait until you actually get your score back before saying it was the best you ever wrote. I've written poems while high thinking I was touching the goddam Truth with a capital T, only to read a rather disjointed poem the next day. Wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. Though, I have written some good stuff while high, too. And it did save my ass on that Trig test, or rather the studying for it. I was totally stuck and confused, I gave up and later that night smoked. Decided for kicks to look at my notes and it all made sense. That test score was the highest for the sememster, though before I smoked I knew it would be the lowest. It was nothing short of amazing.
i take adderall when i have a big test like that. I will end up writing so much and so well! being stoned would be too hard for me i dont think smoking would help at all (for me, it sounds like it worked pretty well for you!)
i took 150mg of addies and two bowls of fine herb out at lunch before a big math test i had next. Was speeding balls. Got an 85.
i've been in a similar situation. during the week i got high the most i got the best grades.....strange. don't think i will do it again though
i also feel like my writing improves when i'm stoned. good weed heightens my senses, and i am able to make connections and draw paralles between ideas or somehow frame them so that they are relevant to my experiences, so i can reflect on them. usually the ideas where already there, and i would have included them in my paper, but weed helps me to convey them in a manner that they are more connected to one, all-encomapssing argument. that's why i like to write analytical or persuasive essays in particular stoned
math + weed = wtf science + weed = alrite.. but not the physics n formulas (jus the cool stuff, mainly biology n astrology) math + english = ye.. as long as u dun fuck up so much on spellin art + weed = lotta creativity boost music + weed = depends on insturment. but for playin guitar it helps gym + weed = u think everyone else is stoned history + weed = borin ass stuff
I remember the two times this year I smoked at school before swim I had to do way too much shit and it tired me out and it sucked. I did better baked than I probably would have sober.
The few times i have been realllyyyy realllyyy stoned, i can't even concentrate on writing, nonetheless trying to write out what i need to. I am however very good at drawing when i am stoned. I am a horrible artist sober, so it boosts my creativity there. Oh and about adderall, 150 mg is way to much! i take 30 mgs and maybe sometime 2 of those, for 60 mg. I havent ever smoked and adderall-ed at the same time, that prolly isnt good
i find if if just had a small smoke earlier in teh day, when i do maths tests, i dont lose time much. like often i might think about a problem for a bit and then realise i just wasted 10 minutes doing nothing. that fucks me up. but a little bit of weed in me can make it seem like every minute counts. so even though it sometimes take s a tiny bit more to work out what im doing again, i dont wander the mind, i just think about the questions. its like a maths paper is a universe in itself, seperate from reality university lectures can be a bit awkward when stoned because its nt really active learning, its listening for an hour or so. it sorta depends on the lecture. sometiems we have lectures which arent content based, theyre just general lectures about methods of approaching the topics, and theyre good when stoned
math....i can never get high its wayy too hard! music...its soo trippt. the music on my sheet would trip me ouuut! photography....would be siiiick.i would take pictures of us getting high. construction.....fuck would be so hard, but reallly funny!! science....i do the best on labs when i'm high! i'm soo inti it . gym...would be verrry hard~! but i would laff a lot becvause its co-eed and there a lot of guys. english...maan my teacher would piss me off, and i would sleeep, or be very loud. fashion...omg! it would be sooooo good. we could lkeave whenever we want and be alowed to get food anytime!@
I agree because it could jsut be that you ahve to be in a mind altered state to undestand and connect with it so deeply
Weed always seems to boost my musical creativity. If like I'm not talking to anyone and just kinda sitting there, my mind will make really awesome tunes(And it's not any song I've heard before)! Happens a lot when I get high. I just need to somehow transfer it to outside my head. Plus I love jamming on guitar with my band when we're all blazed, and though it sounds and feels good to me, it's still nothing compared to what I hear in my head. What I hear I would probably have to sit down and slowly work it out.
