Everyone who actually gives a damn about CIVIL LIBERTIES and the U.S. Constitution should get together and march on Washington. It is our rights as citizens to peacefully protest ILLEGAL ACTIVITY by the U.S. Government (i.e. President and his cronies) by marching, protesting, picketing and calling things as we see it: UNCONSTITUTIONAL & FASCIST! We The People should not just sit back and tolerate the return of DER FUHRER. We've come too far to regress into the dark past of imperialistic fascism. It's Time Now, People or kiss your civil liberties goodbye forever.
Where's The Outrage? We need a million people standing outside the White House while the news media records everyone saluting Der Fuhrer with a loud and unified "SIEG HEIL!" for about 10 solid minutes.
what are you waiting for?start organising, call friends and tell them to call their friends and pass the word on,contact ONGs,groups that oppose the current administration, groups of unsatisfied people, wait for a white house scandal, spread flyers and get as much people as posible there and contact the media.probably more people will come.
true satirul....I have been working on getting the message out and attempting to organize a "day of truths"...and appropiately sept 11th ...would be the day to bring about the most coverage.....since the liars are expecting us to believe the script they are pedalling....a march on the white house demanding the truth or the people in the streets will personally evict the lying scum from with-in the walls of the deceit pit i.e. The White House....the time is now...if we are to regain any form of freedom ....something has to be done on a wide scale ASAP or tomorrow will only be worse than today
I completely agree. I believe that there is enough outrage though, just not enough action. I would be happy to help organize a Washington march from Chicago. If there is enough interest it can be done. Rocktosh
A march without an aim is useless. Anti-war protests and marching have being taking place since before 9/11 and it does not seem like any change is happening. I agree with a previous poster there is enough outrage but not action. What will it take to ignite the outrage and unite people to act? A major obstacle is capitalism.. Capitalism has partitioned people into too many interest groups for people to unite. Many progressive movements break down because governments and elites play divide and conquer very successfully. People are too busy worrying about the self and abandoning their collective duty of action. What most forget is if the nation is not healthy than the individual will eventually become unhealthy too.
Trying to get the mainstream media to cover it is another problem. There are marches in NY and DC and elsewhere with hundreds of thousands of people and no mention of it in the U.S. mainstream media. I hear more about them watching European stations such as EuroNews. We need something like 'Protest TV' but no one in the mainstream media has the nerve to do such a thing. Democracy Now is about the only channel I know that covers such material. Maybe tell DN about a planned march in DC. At least there might be some coverage on it. .
i'd say you need a major scandal as a pretext.even a lie.once that's in the media contact every tv channel and newspaper and tell them what's going to happen. also, something extraordinary, like 200 people chaining themselves to the white house gates/fence/lightpoles/whatever to show what the us has become would be a good option. and cut the communist crap.i lived in it and it ain't pretty.it's not fun having no heat when the temperature is -15 C and you got a 1 year old kid whom you feed animal rezidue salami (grinded hoofs, guts, cartilages and a little flesh) cause the government miscalculated everyone's ratio.
Another problem would be if the government reacted like they did during the marches on D.C. and Burmingham during the 60's. Dogs, guns, fire, the police would arrest and beat pretty much anyone on the lawn, whether it's legal or not. Then again, if that's seen on the media, more support would be given. But I love the idea of doing it on 9/11, or maybe July 4th.
so does being a patriot mean having leanings toward nationalist sentiment perhaps just a little toward national-socialist sentiment?
