How much weed do you guys think these plants will produce? They are one week into flowering...both are females...and are 26'' and 27'' tall. They filled out a little more since this picture was taken.
okie doke... they look healthy though.. and the stems look pretty strong. It should produce some nice greenery
What strain are they? Do you know if they are Indica or Sativa (or how much of a mixture of the two?) Did you pick the seeds out of a stash, or were they bought online? What types of bulbs are you using there? Have you been suplimenting the growth with Co2? What growing medium are you using? Are you giving it fertilizer? Whats the plants light schedual right now? Are you using soil and watering it, or do you have a hydrop setup? all these things effect the end yield of the plant, and I doubt anyone could get a decent answer unless they told all this information, because without it, theres basicly no way to know. But, just a few tips. I see atleast one incandecent bulb, these bulbs, while they can illuminate a room, they hardly add jack to the growth of the plant. I cant tell what the two bulbs up near the top are. You would do your plants alot of help if you went and spent like atleast $10 and bought a Compact Flourecent bulb and replaces that one near the bottom with it. It would be even better if you went to a gardening store that sold hydroponics stuff, and purchased a CFL bulb with a more natural specturm. ou should also build something to put around your plants, and then put something refelective on it, like aluminum foil (use the matte side of the foil to help reflect), or white paint ("titanium white" is better than just plain ol' white), or mylar. Reflecting light back onto the plants will help quite a bit. that way the plants get even more light, without having to add more lightbulbs. and while im not an expert on growing, it looks to me that your plants are streching. Im not gunna spend a bunch of time typing that up right now, but its what happens when your plants dont get enough light. Honestly, if thouse plants ARE Streching, the only way to save them, at this point, might be to take clones of them, and start the clones with more light.
they are both females. I'm postitive b/cuz the white pistle recently begun to show... and they have filled out a lot more since then (the picture is about 2 weeks old). The stems are very strong and I currently have some better leaf production. Pretty much all the open spaces in the plants are now filled. I'll put a new picture up soon. The top two lights are metal halide the center one is a incandecent but I will be replacing that with another metal halide plus adding 2 more MH. I'm still using the flourescent light as of now. They are indicas...they have big fat leaves. I took down the movable wall to take a picture...it is made out of cardboard and painted white. They are bagseeds but of very good quality smoke. I don't supplement them with co2 b/cuz it seems to dangerous...this is in my bedroom. When it's time to kill the lights...I remove them from the room and put in a small closet downstairs so the dark period doesn't get interupted. I'm using a regular soil with added perlite and fertilizer that is higher in Nitrogen which is part of the soil. It's a weaker slow release formula. I'm about 6 days into the 12/12 light cycle. I water when the soil is a little dry but not too dry.
You won't get much. Not enough lighting. The more lighting the more your plants will grow larger, & more dense buds. You should also think about a different spectrum bulb for flowering.
first of all, dont get more MH bulbs. You need some HPS's for flowering. I have heard its good to mix MH with HPS for all steps of the grow, but its better to have about a 2-1 ratio (HPS to MH) for when flowering. You would harvest alot more, even if you just added a little bit more light, from a different spectrum. So consider getting an HPS to supliment thouse MH lights. Also, Co2 isnt dangerous at all. People inhale O2 (Oxygen) and exhale Co2 (carbondioxide) Plants "inhale" Co2 (carbondioxide) and "exhale" O2 (Oxygen) Okay, while plants dont really inhale or exhale anything, to do take in the Co2 and release O2. Suplimenting with Co2 isnt very expensive, and its not dangerous at all, if you are using certain methods. For a small scale grow, you wouldnt need a bit CO2 tank or anything like that, there are plenty of ways to do it without any risk being involved. You should check out the grow forums about it. Its a proven fact that adding more Co2 can dramaticly increase the yeild and make plants grow even faster.
