Songs to trip to?

I like some of the psychedelic Beatles songs...Like "Across the Universe" , Strawberry Fields", the Mother Mary one and others I know by lyrics not titles.
I remember listening to some an ambient album by Aphex twin that was amazing, but later became annoying.

Ravi Shankar was amazing too! The tabla and especially the drone layered sounds of the sitar was so amazing. I felt truly transported....

 

"I Care because You Do" or "Selected Ambient Works 1985-1992" ? the former was fun to listen to during my acid trippin' days

 

Grateful Dead, Phish or Dave Matthews Band they are so chill...

 

Led Zeppelins dazed and confused is a good idea, try gettin a live version, much better and its like 5 times longer, the version from Song remains the Same film is the best version i have live. Try the Doors' When the Music is Over, that song put me into spirital trance were i understood the complexities of life and realize how beautiful the world is. Never been the same since, so good luck to ya and have a nice trip or two

 

I listened to VNV Nation's 'Forsaken' (live) on a mushroom trip... the song is full of power and emotion...

 

i like to listen to acid jazz compilations but it really all depends on what im in the mood for

 

That completely depends on your music taste; usually what you like in a normal state of mind you will like in a trip.
I tripped to aborym twice. Those two trips were both absolutely great. The whole room moved and everything looked so strange. (aborym = industrial experimental black metal)
Also listening to mysticum in a trip was nice; very odd though (also industrial black metal).
But bethlehem was maximum, it made everything so hollow; and the music seeme dto be in the air (bethlehem = doom/black metal).

Any music is nice though..

 

That and the other one, are the best in my opinion, as well as madvillain. Air is my favorite song though (my sig shows that if you know the song) and I just recently found a single of that song that includes the instrumental version, plus a version that is way different, and i dont know you got to hear it, it's the best song I ever heard. And that means a lot coming from me because I only like some hip hop

I have always wanted to trip with my girl friend.
I have a special place I smoke and trip, we call it Strawberry Fields.

The first song I've ever heard while trippin' was Grand Funk Railroad's Closer To Home(I'm your captain),that song is so relaxing,I like the part when you here the ocean.It's 10 mins long so you can really get into it.But time seems so fucked up when your trippin'.

yeah i have to admit i hadnt even listened to it properly and deeply before last night, i was always in the mood to listen to something else, but it was perfect for that moment.
and morningmaniacmusic, you aroused my curiosity and i got that song, and im likin' it.

Some people rip on them cause of their late 70's albums were kinda cheesy,but their early stuff was pretty damn heavy.Another good song by them is Paranoid,it has a sick ass beat.
