hey there im new to this and im new to growing.. currently i have just put the seedlings in the soil..they are just poking out of the soil with a little stem and 2 little petals? coming out and then inside there are tiny leaf looking things.. they are only about2 centimeters high at this point. i germiated by usingthe papertowel methos until they had a small root and the petals began. i buried them about 3 inches in the small pots im using. the questions i have are:

    1) im using screw inbulbs but they are the plant bulbs is this ok? i have them in adjustable like moving lamps posistioned about 12inches from the plants. i have two lamps and two of the bulbs.

    2) is it ok to use all purpose mg with plant food in it?

    3) is it normal for a few of the plants to sort of have a candy cane look to them...( meaning they come out straight from the soilt then when they reach the peak they sory of hook a lil and the petals face sideways?) will they grow out of this.. or is it just because they are still young? please help!!!!

Keep the lights on 24 hours a day. The lights you are using won't do. You can grow plants under flourescants or envirolites but for flowering you could do with a High pressure sodium lamp.

Regular screw-in lights (incadescentx) can't grow marijuana.

Halogens have the correct spectrum (sort of) but are way too hot to grow marijuana.
You need to read a grow book. If you did you would have found out only 3 types of lights grow pot
    -florescents (poor but do-able)
-MH (good for vegging, not so good for flowering)
    -HPS (the King of lights).

If you use an extended spectrum HPS bulb you can use it the whole time I use one and get no stretching whatsoever. The one I use is called a growlux bulb and only costs £15 for a 400W bulb. The reflector and ballast should cost you between $70 to $100 thers no need to spend more although some grow shops do charge silly prices. Whilst using your halogen bulbs put your hand over your plants to make sure there not to hot plus keep a fan blowing across them.

or can i just get an envirolite and screw it in to a regular adjustable lamp and posistion it over top of the plantscuz i saw the model where it just screws in to a regular fixture and just line the room with foil instead of buying the reflectors

You can screw a 200W evirolite straight into a regular fitting. This is about the very minimum you can get away with. Keep the plants short as they need to be quite close to the bulb. Read up on training the plants. You wont harvest much but even if you get an ounce or two of good buds its enough to invest in some better lighting.

Don't be tempted to get a 125W evirolite bulb this is not enough go for the 200W bulb. Then start saving for another one so you can have 400W during flowering.

Or Should I Say Screw It And Just Grab 400 Watts Of Flourescent Tubes? Or Just Wait And Save For The 400 Hps?

envirolites are better than flourescant tubes as the light is smaller hence more focused. 400W is perfect for five plants. Dont forget some might be male.
For a first grow two 200W envirolites would be perfect they do fit ordinary fittings and don't give of much heat. First of all buy the white spectrum 6400k one for veg then buy another one in the red spectrum for flowering. You can then have both bulbs going to cover the full spectrum. With two 200W envirolites theres no reason you coud'nt harvest five ounces plus of good bud.
