What's The Difference Between A Hippy And A Wino?

i haven't seen any. The old hippies have simply taken the places of what people use to call bums, tramps, hobos and winos. It's the same thing, but a new generation. They wear their hair the same and the clothes are the same filthy rags.
They smell as bad because many hippies didn't like bathing.
There was never any thing cool about this. It's simply this generation of fools were trained at an earlier age. They thought dope and rock music was cool, but that only prepared and tricked a lot of fools into what is commonly known as the winos, bums and street trash of today. You were suckers, fish, pigeons who believes the lies. How do you feel today jackasses??

Poor YOU, I would hate to be as blind as that. Funny.. I'm an old hippie and I am no bum, wino or whatever he said.
I own a farm, PAID FOR. I drive a nice Chevy Blazer paid for, My gardens are beautiful and full of veggies and flowers. My house is huge and full of love and laughter, with loving people all around. Our amimals are happy and well fed. My grandkids flock around waiting for a cookie or some homemade iceceam, grinning up at me with stary eyes as they smell the cookies fresh from the oven.

Perhaps some people choose to be the way you discribed. But is it a fair assumption to say that we are all bums and wineos. I do like some wines, but I rarely drink any alcohol these daze, but when I do, I do it in the privacy of my own home and it aint nobodies biz'ness what I do at home.

WE do not sit and say All non hippies are assholes, but we do say that you are one, but that doesn't go for every non hippy now does it, just you. See what I mean.

I work with guys that either were hippies or still are hippies..everyday. Some or most of them are engineers or programmers (or other jobs than require a great deal of education) They have impeccable hygiene (probably much better than yours) and live in houses the like of which you'll never be able to afford.

i think he meant that everyone who fucked their lives up by doing too many drugs when they were young have amounted to nothing. maby his idea of a hippy is someone who does drugs. and usually thats the case. the majority of the homeless people today are the guys who got fucked up when they were in highschool. .. maby not, anyway im sure theres a nicer way of putting what you said. and its nice how all you "hippys" on here resort to name calling.
