Im going to take my g.e.d test soon..anyone here take it??? was it easy? please reassure me. overall, whats your advice and opinon on it? thank you so much.
i've heard the GED test is pretty easy... since it's such a 'general' test. just study up a bit before taking the test, like a quick review of some things you think you might get caught up on. and.. you'll be fine! good luck!
I dropped out in 11th grade, took it 6 months later with no study'n and according to my scores I would of been in the top 10% of my class. So look at this way, I missed a year and half of school, took half a year with no study'n before I took the test and made a high score and finished it an hour or so before the time limit. IMHO you can be super smart but not study'n for half a year can make it hard for anyone. so given my experince...Easy as PIE!
I've heard it's mainly just common sense. I'm going to be taking it this summer becuase I'm homeschooled. Then I'm gonna go to a massage school in a near by city. Good luck come test day!
I took the test in 1995, and overall I'd say its fairly easy. I studied for a couple of months at an adult education center before taking it to improve my math skills (math was not one of my strong points at the time). I didnt have much trouble with the the science and reading sections. The test covered basic material and shouldn't be a problem for most people, but that was over 10 years ago and it may have changed since then.
i took it, I scored perfect on parts and I never studied at all. Its really easy. the algebra on it is like.. only algebra one i think and very little geometry. it reminded me of standardized tests they gave us in middle school.
Here's a link to some pretty straight talk about the GED: http://www.neoam.edu/~cthale/GED.htm The pages are being improved daily, but this will give You a pretty good idea of what to expect. Hope it helps.
