What drugs will cause truly halucinogenic effects. ie. false perception of reality, realy seeing things that dont exist etc.

shrooms, LSD, morning glories, peyote, ect... you know all the "hallucinogens" salvia can cause it too (not sure of classification though), but all drugs affect people differently. Alcohol is a hallucinogen in my opinion. Erowid is your best source:

    hope that helps...

Personaly, I havent seen stuff that wasnt there while on Salvia, but that shit did make me think in a completely different way...

A good friend of mine tho, said one time he did like 25x salvia and the bookshelf next to his bed became a toy train. This guy doesnt make shit up either... So going off of what he said. I would say Salvia would be considered halucinigen (sp?), but you would only have visual halucinations, only when taken in large ammounts.

aye, salvia is most def. a halucinogen. If taken correctly and one 'breaks through', you completely lose your entire existence and perception of time and you enter a new universe, only to find after the trip that you exist.

i dont think it can really, because it isnt even really blurred. i think our brain never stops being able to see things, its just that our conscious perception does, so we just have less perception of vision, the actual data being consciously recieved isnt being altered or fed by the imagination, but just muffled. hallucinations would have to be defined neurologically by a case whereby the conscious perception of vision is feeding off information that has not originated from the eye-nerve

You just havent been that drunk. But the trick is staying awake while your loaded. I've done it probably 3 times where I was out of it but I remember seeing some weird shit. Kind of like how people talk about pink elephants, although they werent elephants, just weird pink things floating around in front of me.

I think. he means true hallucinations. like talking to someone who isnt there and seeing bugs and stuff which really look realistic

lsd shrooms salvia they dont do this I guess. They produce pseudo hallucinations which you recognize as not real and is usually abstract patterning. Id suspect salvia to be able to pull you in another physical reality though. As siebert once reported.

Dramamine, datura, they will,. Deliriants, is that what you are lookin for?? There you will have false perception of reality, then realize your really goin crazy when you were talkin to the lamp.

They are lying to your ass about salvia. I did a gram of pure salvinorin a, 35x extract yesterday. Got a really nice body high, was really sleepy, but there is no "trip" that comes with it. Thats a rumor made up by 6th graders.

How can you say everyone is lying and you infact have to be right? I never did it myself but everyone reacts in their own way to drugs. So maybe those people did get those affects from salvia.

I wouldn't say false perception of reality, more a heightened state of awarness of your surroundings. It may be more real than you think.

I would love to elaborate... although alcohol may not exactly cause hallucinations like shrooms or LSD do, reality def. doesn't appear the same way to a drunk person as it does to a sober one. Alcohol makes certain people more attractive and certain others less attractive. There are visual changes that occur with alcohol.. thats all I'm saying...
