Caught in National Park in Utah (sucks)

Imagine eating a delicious hamburger & veggie hobo pack smothered in Bush's Baked Beans. With sleep around the corner, my girlfriend and I decide to go smoke one by the river across the trail from our campsite. Leaving our fire unattended, we were mid-laugh near a small rapid when a flashlight is shined on us and a Ranger is asking what is in my hand. Not wanting him to search the car and find felonious activity, I abide and tell him there is a dugout in the middle console. He leaves and I smoke another joint.

It doesn't get any worse than this though for possession. Minimum $1150 in fines and 1 year probation. Federal Offense. With a plea as a first time offender, I won't have to go back to that fucking state for court and it will go off my record upon successful completion of probation in my state.
