    Trees are wonderful!
When I was growing up we had a vast cedar in our yard that I would play in a lot. It was like an enormous 3d spiderweb that you could climb in any direction and completely forget which way was up or down... kinda. But the people living there now cut it down! ARGHH! :(
Haha, yeah, I have a couple tree "friends" that I visit regularly too!

i love tree, i really love the smell of magnolia trees, the fluffy stuff that floats around like cotton candy clouds from cotton woods, and big huge pines and maples. the city i live in is filled with trees everytime something is built on city property the city plants at least two trees. a housing area was just built in the middle of town and around 50 trees have been planted by the city. i love that kansas tries to perserve the outdoors.
anyhow my children have named all of our tree, we have magdaline, maggie, matilda, jimmy, lacy lucy, twisted mike, angle, marlyn, sarafina, wild bill, strawberry, and molly the honeysuckle vine take over and we're still deciding if the rose bush is a girl or a boy and getting ready to name and plant a grape vine, a lilac tree, a bleeding heart, and a lily of the valley. we're gonna have to decide after they are planted if they are girls or boys. next years we're planting a plum, apple, and peach tree. o.k. so overboard we love our plant life enough to plant more like getting kids and naming them.

I have a white beam brought by birds many years ago. Each Spring, as the buds burst, and the young leaves blow, it's as though the underside of each one had been painted silver, and the fluffy cream blossoms are amazing. Come Autumn she turns golden and the birds feast on the berries. Yeah! I love trees.

I'm totally in love with Oak trees, Willows, and Maples...
Each Oak I see, has a total "personality" of it's own... I've seen some that literally look creepy, and others that are so friendly and inviting.

Weeping Willows are just breathtakingly magestic...'nuff said. I love them.

And Maples, because they populate the forest near my house...they are the trees I have come most familiar with... I literally love hugging the Maples near my house :) And I even have a favorite.

I totally believe that trees have personalities.... not in the chemistry-brain sense... but rather, an "aura" about them. I'm not a spiritual person normally, but there's something about trees; it's as if they have souls.

    I love trees :)

trees are amazing, and beautiful. i love hugging them, it makes me feel connected to nature on a level that can only be experienced by just that.
and i totally know what you mean, Apples+Oranjes, how you say trees have 'auras' or souls.

I love trees. My favorites are the oaks and maples. I've got some cool ones in my back yard. It gives one such a cool feeling sitting in the shade of an oak on a summers day.

I love all trees and the forest. I respect them all, for they are wise and have been around for a while. On Earthday I planted a beautiful little rose bud tree in my yard, I am glad to say that she is now budding and growing strong.
