99 names

Is it true that in Islam Allah has 99 names?
And Do all these names appear in the Quran?

BTW, Allah told us several times in Quraan that he has other names, For example the very first verse of Quraan 1.1, There are three names​

ÈÓã Çááå ÇáÑÍãä ÇáÑÍíã ​

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi ​

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. ​

the Most Beneficent (is the meaning of His name ÇáÑÍãä ) and so the Most Merciful (is the meaning of His name ÇáÑÍíã ) ​

That's why you find many Muslims names as follow:​

Abdullah (the slave of Allah)​

Abdulrahman (the slave of the Most Beneficent)​

Abdulraheem (the slave of the Most Merciful) and so on​

And that doesn't mean that Allah is agreed with this (according to so many verse in Quraan), No, people made up these things, innovation, That's why Allah sent prophets, e.g. the Jews broke the law of Allah for the sake of their traditions!
