Burn down the forest

i am all for burning down a forest to make room for shit that actually matters, how about you?

 

Those things they build DON'T matter. Does wal-mart really matter? In my opinion, no, considering they're everywhere. And there is LIFE in those forests, animals have homes there and trees keep our environment healthy.

do you mean like a sewerage farm or a

I like skate gangs - some of my best friends play in bands and they were in skate gangs - now the skaters idolise them and want to be in bands as well - so skate parks are good things so are skate gangs

If you dont like that, can we burn the forest down and put an ice cream factory there

I assume this is a joke right? What about when all the forests have been burnt down and all the trees are lost and one of the most important processes on earth no longer takes place (that is the production of oxygen along with taking carbon dioxide out of the air). Concrete won't help you breathe.

 

there are enough forests that we can afford getting rid of some of them, besides, not only trees produce oxygen, there are things in the oceans, and other plants

 

i vote for keeping the trees.

 

FIY- Ozone is a type of oxygen and there are seasonal holes in the ozone layer over the Earth's north and south poles. The oxygen level in the atmosphere may be in the process of dropping due the mass amout of vegetation that already has been destroyed. It may be years before it is noticable. Mass extinctions and low oxygen levels have occurred simutaniously before in Earth's history, eg. 251 million yrs ago.

ummm.... well i think we need the forest, b/c animals live there and thats like taking their home away and they were there first, and we already have enough stores and stuff.

 

No way in hell. If anything, we need MORE forests in this country! I'm all for protecting the forests of America.
