i say random things in french all the time

"oh mon dieu"

"n'oubliez pas.." (telling myself what to remember, not other people)

"ma mere!"

and much more.

talked to a guy in spanish yesterday. automatically said "oui" instead of "si".. it took me a second to remember what to say lol

 

I do that too

but I don't live in Idaho
and I was in french immersion when I was younger

(I do oui, d'accord, de rien, mais oui, ques-que sais (sp?) alot)

fewer Frenchies than Canuckia has (%-wise), or at least that's always the impression I've been given

 

dont know the statistics.. but i have a number of friends who speak french.

and theres colleges in france that send their student to my school for their last year.. or something like that.

but i've mainly taken it up on my own. like, obviously learning in class. but i didnt take it to understand foreigners here. i'd need to learn Bosnian and Spanish for that. (is bosnian a language?)
