Pat Robertson is one of the biggest douchebags to ever walk the face of the earth. Lying to market protein drinks....and people still think of him as a religious leader. You expect this out of corporate america, but from a preacher? Jesus Christ would shit his pants if he saw this man preaching in his name. I say let the idiots have their leader, and he can lead them all straight to Satan's playground. They can live off protein drinks (and pancakes, which he also sells on his website I see) while they're there.

I just don't understand how this guy has an audience. I'm upset at myself just for going to his website and giving him traffic.

    maybe the hype is real

    but

    probably not

it's funny cuz the only way you'd find out is by buying his stuff, but don't you think body builder's would have figured out how to make these protein shakes before a televangelist?

He interprets the parable where the one servant hides the mone his master gave him and the other invests it as God saying that capitalism is the way to go and that God wants us to have nice things...

    psycho

Ya, the school I went to taught that parable the same way. They were the same breed of conservative, literalist, selfish, and flat-out rediculous christians as Robertson.

I ususally don't speak so harshly about people, but that man really grinds my gears. Made worse by the fact that he thinks people like me are the ones who deserve hell.

wow, nice incline hip press, should be able to do fast reps with 200 pounds on a machine like that, I would need to put 300 on do get a good workout (sounds like alot, but right now i push 270 almost full vertical and do 200 reps, pushing out as much as 50 in about 30 seconds, and i often have to remove weight someone else left on there)
if you greased it real good, added your arms, and moved your body up so it has a greater incline you might just be able to get 2000 pounds to move a little anyway, but i seriously doubt it
there does seem to be 20 100 pound weights on that machine though, if he did do it hes a damn idiot, and dosnt believe in the whole your body is a temple thing

i was just talking about this with some people at the gym, everyone agreed that on a machine like that it was entirely posible to get it to move anyway, also entirly stupid to try.
a stunt like that only insults people who work out, dosnt sell them anything,

    Found this:

    http://http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/2557.html

    Hopefully it doesn't disappear.

Just to point out, leg presses and squats are two very different things. In a squat, the weight is solely on the lifter. In a leg press, the majority of the weight is supported by the machine.

no telling what religon this guy realy is..
I was curious so i put 410 pounds on the hip sled before i left the gym and knocked out a quick twenty reps, not that dificult, and im not that big. I'd bet there are poeple working out with 1500.
It was irresponsable of him to do that, and i know he was/is hurting from even trieing.
I only hope his fallowers dont try and emulate him and injure themselves

Oh, Pat's religion? I'd sat it's a cross between worshipping money and fame. We'll call it Hollywoodism strongly influenced by Assholism.
