i was really into them a year ago or so, but i havent listened to them that much anymore. They were really popular in my high school, before they hit it big with "float on". They are still good, but i think i may of burnt myself out on modest mouse

My friends and I have this saying that pretty well sums up our feelings about Modest Mouse.

"Like the Pixies, only good." :)

Wait, Ugly Cassanova's frontman is Isac Brock? It didn't sound like him at all.

its great to see the love for the mouse on here! i like good news, it has some amazing songs, and is their best overall album id say, but some of the earlier stuff they made is mind blowing.

some of the songs on moon and antartica are the best rock songs ive ever heard (to me at least!). same with some off of the other albums: never ending math eqaution, jesus christ was an only child, noght on the sun, youre the good...

That is as very strange way of discribing Modest mouse. Granted I have just one album, but that sounds nothing like the Pixies.
