The following information about the gathering was sent courtesy of JJ of the animal rights anarcho punk band 'Active Slaughter', who will hopefuly be playing at this years AR gathering:
' hey yeah its the best gathering there is!
yeah helped put on last year and went the year before too. Its great coz there are about 4 different big marquee tents at the gathering and theres a workshop/talk/video showing going on at each one from about 9am in the morning till the night time. Theres very cheap vegan food 5 quid a day gets you 3 meals so well cheap. Its on a friend of mines big animal sanctuary. Theres hundreds of people that attend from all around and europe, many of them crusty anarcho punks! some of the videos that get shown from around europe and the rest of the world are amazing, some great direct action videos, the one from russia last year was the best.
Everyone brings their tent and you can camp there. Its been free every year so far but i think this year may be 5 quid for the whole weekend.'
