Thinking too acutely can be dangerous.

Like the curiosity that cut my thumb instead of shaving.

Climbing a dwindling pyramid of “it’s all right”

Like the point of this pencil, it’s hard to feel safe atop one of these things.

    There’s so much to see.

Don’t fall, just grasp the handles of the cosmic seat of knowledge.

    Breathe.

    You can absorb it all.

    Except.

The wires of God and non-God cross.

Each trades their current of logic.

Growing stronger, neither is right or wrong.

There is a way to settle the matter.

    No more essays or verses.

    No more philosophizing.

They all contribute to the tangled mess.

Grasp it, is your own personal Solomon.

    It will decide everything.

Just press down and all will be resolved.

Yes, thinking too acutely can be harmful.

Perhaps that’s the greatest thing to know.

The great thinkers understood many things.

Bacon gave the educators their motto.

Yet you have made a bang so loud, Bacon never saw it coming.

Perhaps he described a power too great.
