Um, it´s not like I did that on purpus (spl). It was an accident. I did a 4 week getting-to-know-the-job kinda thing and was supposed to do things on the computer and check invoices and other office stuff BUT the boss sent me up into the sewing and fabric rooms( no word about that in the contract). That had nothing to with anything I was there for and if the following had happen to me I could have tell cops and lawyers. So, they sent me up to cut fabric on this huge table where the fabric gets cut with a huge razorblade thing thats on a long stick, so you can push and pull. The woman I worked with, was like 80 years old and had a bad shoulder, so I had to push and pull the cutter. She did all the stuff like for 50 years allready and really knew how to hold the fucking fabric, so it´s not moving. After 20 min she hold it wrong and I moved the cutter ... thumb till half her fingernail cut off. She went to the hospital and got it back on. I had a nervous breakdown and she came back with a huge smile on her face and said it´s all fine and I shouldn´t be so upset about it.
reminds me of when I worked in a book bindary, they use knives to cut piles of paper to size. Its averry simular thing simular thing, big freeking razor sharp knifes. ony therr is a hydrolic press to hold the paper down, with something like 2300lbs of force, knife is forced down on another hydraulic system. but ya know all that safty shit is just a pain, so some dummy rewired the thing and remooved all the safeties. then a month or so later a temp worker cut his hand off obove the wrist. no chance of reatactchemt becase it was crushed under the press. that was hell of mess a saw another guy get disembowled. thoes knifes are insane sharp. the operater of a 3 knife inline book trimmer was changing the knives. and he turned without looking first, the blade he was holding hit some one in abdomen. sliced the guy open so bad his guts litteraly spilled all over the flloor. the guy survived, but he was on disablily for a year and a half. like I was saying those kives are insane sharp. another guy picked up a new blade sharp side into his hand. the wieght of the knife alone was enough cut through bone and take all his finger offs. then it landed on one foot taking that off too. he manged to have the foot reatached anyways, I worked 2 years in that bindary and I saw 3 mager limb amputation, and many hospitalizations. It was a bad place to work. I Heard The WCB and ocupational health and safty board went fuckin nuts on the owners shortly after I left.
hmmm was their a sense of madness going through your head and you decided to take it out on her thumb? if so I'd say to read the anger workbook... haaa haaaa!!!!
