I saw on a TV program awhile back where a prisoner sued because the prison didn't have a certain kind of peanut butter, now how rediculas is that. Got a free attourney and everything, all complements of the state. Oh boy! frivilous lawsuits galour.
I dont know about jail, but they do in some prisons. They have people in there working as travel agents and I think but not totally sure, online sales reps. I saw all of this stuff on a tv show.
i got a better one....there's a prisoner in MA who wants the taxpayers to pay for a sex change. he's already got the state to pay for his female hormones and laser hair removal, now he wants us to pay for the full operation to become a female... http://news.bostonherald.com/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=141529
that money should be used to stop prison rapes and make sure the laws of society apply and exist in prison.
I agree, you know I have my own idea on this. Make it so each prisoner has a cell with his own small fenced in area on the back of it, put each prisoner in a cell by themselves, and deliver there meals to them on cardboard trays and with cardboard trays and plastic utinsles they can recycle and save on water, and dish soap. This will also cut way down the amount of guard contact with the prisoners, and make it so they have zero contact with each other.
Thats exactly what I would say too the prisoners, For them to be able to even try and sue over something like this is so rediculas.
I'm sorry, but if you commit a crime, you give up your rights to decide what kind of peanut butter you want.
Thats what Im saying, I agree with you 100 percent. The prisoners there should not have the right to sue over much of anything unless they are being abused by a guard or something of a very serious nature.:sunglasse
