*sorry... whining* i just had a freaking root canal. IT SUCKED SO BAD, and the worst part is, i have to go back AGAIN cause they couldn't finish it all. fuuuuuuck. teeth are so annoying! it sucks even more because im such a tooth-neatfreak, i brush at least 2 times a day and use flouride rinse and stuff... grrr.. now ive been on vicoden for like week and its getting old. i have NO energy... and now the dentist put me on valiuum so im going to be extra fucked up! im supposed to be going to summer school and im taking statistics and cant even focus. i just want this stupid pain to stop.
That's crappy. I had a root canal but I don't recall mine being all that bad. Guess I was fortunate. Then again, that was many years ago so who knows? Hope you feel better soon! {{{Hugs}}}
yeah, the reason it got so bad is because it was very infected. the weird thing is, i didnt even know it. my teeth are not very sensitive at all, so when i finally felt it, it was extreme. i agree... mouth pain is one of the worst pains ever!
Aww...poor girl. I am not sure I would try it. If it was just a molar, I'd say yank that fucker. I would only try to save a front smile tooth....I don't want to look like trailer trash ,ya know...
I would have had mine pulled out, yank it, yank it, yank it. I had two teeth in the back once that they had to ream out. They gave me 15 mg valium, nitrous, and numbed the hell out of it. Got in there with a hand held reamer and really started twisting on it, busted the tooth up and took it out in pieces. I didn't feel a thing though and didn't really care what was going on.
You use fluoride mouthrinse? That could be part of the problem right there. Fluoride does little to nothing to protect the teeth (rather, it does the exact opposite), and I encourage everyone to research fluoride and the origins of its use in public water supplies and toothpaste. It has NOTHING to do with protecting one's teeth.
I would tell you, but if mention anything that goes against the establishment chorus line that fluoride is good for you, I will be ridiculed and called a conspiracy theorist by people who watch five hours of television everyday.
