    The Red River

    A sea of much sorrow
    Implying the absence of tomorrow
    With nothing looking to change
So does the red river range

    No haven to turn to
We're in a cave of ignorance
    With a clear hatred preceding
We can very well guess our fate

    Pride gives rise to evil
    More than we can conceive
Yet not in excess of the past
    For such feelings last
    And then are cast
    And coerced on innocence

My association is with the giver
And not with the red river
For the latter yields but hate
    Enough to make one shiver
    And realize their fate

The Desert (Red River Part II)

    The red river flows over
And so then do we know
Life is not a gold flower nor a four-leafed clover

And so it is time to go
To repatch what should have been
And to eradicate the demons within

    The desert is an endeavor
Not to be assumed by the unclever
But by those who'd seen the red river
    And had shivered
And had perceived its loathsome nature
And had sought to overturn fate

    Paradise is nearly here
    With nothing to fear
No need to shed a tear
All to be done is to embrace the love
From here, and not from above

And so it is time now, my friend
To send the loathsome red river
    To its end

The Garden (Red River Part III)

What had once been is now gone
Ignorance has died and has left no spawn
    We are in the garden
    Our worldly heaven right here
    With nothing left to fear

And so, love, I strike you with an embrace
For now I see your face
    Your eyes flowing through
    Into me
    Into the sea
    Setting me free
And no one has a clue
    How much I love you

The garden is a wonderful place
    No creeds, no race
    Only self-living,
    But with plenty of giving,
    Of a love,
    One not from above,
    But from me
    As a testament to thee
    Along with yours
    And so does it pour
    Over and over again
    To no chosen end
