The song Brain Damage........

Did you ever notice that in the song Brain Damage by Pink Floyd ,during one part it is discribing a person geting a lobotomy?


lobotomy(n.)Surgical incision into the frontal lobe of the brain to sever one or more nerve tracts, a technique formerly used to treat certain mental disorders but now rarely performed.




Then during this part of the song....

im of the school of thought that the dark side of the moon is one gigantic song...

 

Well, its not one gigantic song its just a bunch of songs that are ran together but sound like one large song

 

Yes, it's a concept album, so yeah.

 

I was burnt out on that album at 17. I've never been able to listen to it all the way through since.

 

I was burnt on it too, but its been long enough that it sounds good to me again

 

I was burnt out on that album so bad, that the only way I could listen to it, was if someone would have put a fresh spin to it........ and that was done by these dub reggae artists.

 

I think I no what you mean bye burnt out and i never have and i dont need to in order to listen to all of it

hell yea... thats a bad ass cd... Easy Star Allstars did a great job on that album

I didnt mean burnt out by "getting high off reefer". I mean burnt out as in "tired and bored of it".

 

Lovin that album especially in the summer. they did it well.
