I'm newly vegetarian & chose to become mainly for nutritional benefit; What are yall's reasons, or what led u to be vegan?
I have been vegan for four months and and had been a vegetarian since I was ten. The reason I decided to change was that I felt that the vegan lifestyle was the best for the planet and also for me. So how you finding the vegetarian life? GrĂ¡ duit.
It's been a year since I went vegetarian, and it's been the best thing that has ever happened to me, I feel ten times better than when i ate meat. But the real reason why I become vegetarian was because I love animals and I respect their lives.
Pretty much the same reason as clover. But I mean wow... I didn't know I could be so athletic.... I climb a muddy dirt hill the other day with out getting tired. Wow!
started vegetarian at 14-15ish. Once I made the connection that animals are sentient and that I was eating corpses. I stopped. Veganism was just an extension of this. I learned how the dairy industry is directly responsible for the veal industry and that the conditions hens are kept in for egg laying are beyond sickening. Actually eggs from factory farms are ethically worse than meat, in terms of animal suffering. Just one carton is about 288 hours of suffering. For me, vegnaism is the best decision. I cook and eat well and feel very happy with my decision. I do not like that many people think that vegans feel if you aren't vegan that you aren't doing anything. Many people will not even be vegetarian. Even people who cut out animal products several times a week are doing *something*. Everyone is on their own journey and I decided to hurt as few sentient beings as possible along the way.
i've been a vegetarian since i was 8 and recently started veganism a few months ago. i just love animals so much and eating animals is almost like eating a beloved pet. it really makes me feel great too, i have no guilt
