People don't give him enough credit in the jam circuit, but he does have an annoying side to him. I went to my first Dave concert when I was... three? ahah

 

he's definately not for me.

His voice can get annoying after a while - BUT he plays a mean guitar.

Hmm , I was going to go to one of his concerts soon around here..and I'm not to much of a DMB fan... I guess i'll find out if i like him soon .

 

That last album he made, Stand, or whatever it was, was freaking hilarious. . Definitely one of the worst albums I've ever heard, regardless of the genre.... so many people were expecting it to kick ass, but I have yet to find a positive review of the album. .

 

Yeah, but he generally makes some attempt and tours with people who do...

As far as guitar skills go, I'd actually rather hear Tim Reynolds.

He's really boring. He's a talented guy but he is waaaay overrated.

I almost went to see DMB, but I don't even think I have listened to my entire album of his I have (Busted Stuff). He has a pretty good sound I think, but he deffinately isn't the best out there, in my opinion. A friend of mine went to one of his shows and said it was the weirdest show he'd ever been to. From what he said, they would play part of one song, switch to another, play another part of the first, then go back to the second, finish the first play a third, finish the second or something like that.. Really mismatched. And he started talking to his badn for like 15 minutes on the stage. Not even into the mics, just talking but you couldn't hear a word they said. Then they started back with the show...

Weird concert, hahaha.
