Homemade Bongs

id like to share my first homemade bong.
i mad it out of a 2 liter soda bottle a hollowed out pen some alumimnim foil and some gum. That fucker got me higher than a sky diver! it really fucked me up. first you take a hit and put your finger over the botler cap and while your choking on that first hit more smoke is collecting in the bottle so you have 2 hits in 1. its great!
i named it MR. SMOKE-ME-LOT.
and i have it on my dresser like off the movie half baked.

hey, i do that alot. i do it because my parents dont really like me smoking, and i would have nowhere to put the bong, and with homemade ones, you can just throw them away when your done with them

 

buy a nice glass pipe and stop being so ghetto...please and thank you.

yeh personally i think people who go and spend money on bongs are wasters, lazy, uptight, particular, and have no right to complain when it gets taken away or broken. but you know its up to yourself what you want to spend your money on.

as a bongologist i will suggest once again as i generally find myself doing in any thread concerning ghetto bongs, that you should not use gum or sticky tape or scizzors in making holes for your bong. instead, melt a hole just \smaller than your stem/downpipe, and then push the fucker through while its still hot. the harder it is to fit it in there, the more airtight it will be. there is no substitute for perfect airtightness, which is one of the reasons people go for glass bongs. but you can do it perfectrly with plastic bottles.

we all use hose down here but its inadvisable since it has PVC. however our method of smoking weed is slightly more suited for these dangers because we smoke our whole bowl in each hit, so the bowl itself doesnt get hot and melt the pipe considerably.

but i mean, ghetto bongs can be lost, hidden, shared, placed among normal bottles for easy disguise, etc. in fact one of the few things that a ghetto bong cant do is be broken at least how we make em round here

 

Home made bongs are cool aslong as they're not harmful..
i'll smoke out of anything except homemade bongs that have a fucked cone.... its got to be safe.

i made possibly the worst homemade bong ever on saturday night when i was at home and had nothing to do but smoke it.

 

Yeah, uhh, personally I'd rather spend $30 on a small glass bong, with a rubber-grommet seal, and a glass bowl. This way I don't have to worry about melting parts, or any impurities from smoking off a ghetto-bong.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying ghetto-bongs suck or anything; I've made plenty of really good ones in my day. It's just I don't see the willingness to invest in a good, solid, glass bong that's going to out-last the seals on a ghetto-bong as "wasteful" or "lazy".

In any event, here's the best thing you can do for a ghetto-bong: High-temp silicon glue for the seal (these materials can withstand thousands of temperatures of heats, so once you've heat-sealed it, it's on there), and a mouth-piece to a trumpet you could pick up for about $5.

Also, if you get yoruself a dremel and a diamond-drill bit (about $15), you can make ghetto bongs out of glass bottles. A minimal investment for such a result. I can't count how many glass bongs I've made after I bought my $30 one some time ago. I've got a Jack Daniel's bong, a Bacardia 151 bong, and a Sobe bong. But I don't know how many I've given away.

 

nah man i dont think you get me when i mean 100% airtight, there are no extra parts when using a plastic bottle, except a down pipe and bowl.

using glue would be pointless ifthe bong is made correctly, though its better than tape.

no real bong is going to out last a well made ghetto bong - glass breaks, rubber wears away. plastic stays the same for thousands of years
