I have no idea why the four asterisks some fucking people insist on getting hitched so soon in life... perhaps the rabbit died.

Well hell, age is just a thing, dont matter, depends on if they are ready or not. They used to marry real real young not all that long ago. Just times and points of view change, does not mean people and emotions change.

really? thats insane, how can he do that without telling you?

i don't have an aspirations to get married right now, but it doesn't really matter at what age, if someone is of 'sane' or at least capable mind

what i mean is, i wonder what sort of societal factors are causing this shift. perhaps the past 20 or 30 years have been just a liberal abberation and society is in fact becoming more traditional. but still, WHY is this occurring?

its not really that different a social trend
people used to get married at a young age, mind you they also died alot sooner
if you want to know why you should go find some sociologists and ask them

How early are we talking? I was married at 20, which I suppose is young, but not as young as some.

I don't know, I don't have any regrets from getting married young and also having my children young. It's what we (husband and I) wanted, and so far, it's worked well for us. We've been together for 10 years. But it's not for everybody!

I'm going to a wedding in September that features a 20 and 21 year old getting married. They seem really happy, and I wish the best for them. [IMG]

My little sister is 18 years old, and I guess a lot of her friends have been getting engaged lately, which is surprising!

    hmmm
my mom was 21 when she got hitched
    because she was pregnant

my grandma was 16, got married for the same reason

    neither marriage worked out

    So sometimes it's obligation

But if you're in love, and you think/know it's the right person, why not? My cousin is getting married this august, she's 22. But she knows this is the right guy, it's the right time for them.
