I am a newbie to this forum as well as being a vegetarian. I still cook meat for my family. I however do not eat it. Since becoming a vegetarian for a little over a month, I have noticed what appears to be a rash on my face. I was wondering if its possibly my body detoxing from not eating meat. If anyone has any ideas about this let me know. I havent used anything different then before as in soaps ect. I have always had a clear complection. I am excited about this forum and look forward to reading all of the subjects.:)

hm...a rash? strange, i've never heard of that. make sure you get enough protein, nonetheless. when i first went veggie-i took it a bit gradually, first caught out everything but fish, then eventually stopped eating that. also, look at your situation-do you disagree with the consumption of animals, or purchasing animal meat and giving $$ to, hopefully not the big farms-then maybe you shouldn't cook it. but that's up to you-i shouldn't get involved, as it's probably your kids and stuff. the rash is wierd , though-maybe you should ask someone, then if that doesnt help, the doctor if it's bothering you
