If I were to smoke some weed on Thursday night/Friday early morning, and then get a blood and urine test on the following Saturday morning, would they be able to detect any traces? I've herd that they can't detect it in urine at all and that it only stays in blood for a few hours, but I want to make sure. The blood/urine tests are actually not drug tests, but just general tests. But i'm guessing that they would realize there were drug traces and let my parents know if they could. I really can't risk this.
urine tests are expensive so if it aint a drug test they most likely will not look for it, and everything you heard is wrong.
Ok thanks so much. Obviously what I herd was wrong so it's a good thing I checked. Now on to question 2: how much 2nd hand marijuana smoke would it take to cause me to fail a drug test about 1 or 2 days after?
now for this one your gonna have to lay down a few details. weight, metabolism, % o' body fat, exercise schedule, fluid intake, etc. what im saying is its imposable to answer. just don't get in a hot boxed car. ha ha.
according to the US Navy, it is not possible to fail a drug test by second hand smoke. I would search erowid for that one too.
sorry crummy, but I call BS on that one. If you're in a hotbox, it doesnt matter if you actually suck on the pipe, you're still inhaling smoke with THC in it, whether it be excess that was unabsorbed by your friend's lungs, or directly from the bowl itself.
It's not a hotbox, and I doubt that there will be much. Even if there is, I can just step out for it since I have the tests. Thanks again.
Most drug tests are done by the NIDA 5 standard, whether they be urine or blood. If it is a clinical test (i.e. not just a stick), they have certain protocols and guidelines to check for; doing so can be kind of expensive. So if you are having lab work done, it's very unlikely that your parents would request that they also do lab-work for drugs. It would be cheaper to just buy an EMIT (stick test) and test you at home. Don't worry about it. If anything, just claim that you took some Ibuprofen that morning; it's been known to cause false-positives. Also, on the topic of second-hand smoke causing a failure of a drug test. I very much doubt that unless you actually get buzzed/high off of the second-hand smoke you're inhaling, that it would push concentrations high enough to be detectable on a drug test. Sure, you will still be inhaling small amounts of THC, but whether or not they are enough to be read on a 50 ml/ng concentration limit is inconclussive. Or at least, I've not seen any studies detailing it. However, if anyone would be wiling to do such research, I would expect the US Navy would. But without citable and credible sources, I wouldn't bet on it.
Dude, you just answered your own question right there! WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE TEST!!! Anyways, weed is detectable in urine for about 2-3 days...but that's only if you're talking about a single use. I'm getting this off of the top of my head from reading erowid along time ago. You will probably test positive if you do this.
When smoking on a regular basis cannabis can stay in your system for up to 28 days. Alchohol only 24 hours, opiates 3 days and cocaine 5 to 7 days. Barbiturates and tranqualisers also 28 days.
yep thats my crazy room, it looks a lil different now because i took that pic like a year ago. but it even better now. my mom walked into my room the other day, looking for a hair dryer. she found it, but compleatly missed the gravity bong and bag of shake sitting right next to it...haha
