I'm learning the tuba, does anybody play? I feel so tiny next to it, I can fit in the case... its really comical!
I work with a band called the New Scorpion Band who use three different tubas! Though they only ever use one at a time - well after all, one tuba at a time should be enough for anybody I love blowing the tuba really loudly, though I wouldn't claim to be able to play it - it's just such a great feeling and such a great sound! Hope you enjoy it too!
I'm a tuba player, first chair tuba in the top band of my school. I've been playing for three years. Any questions, ask me, AIM or PM. I have aquestion for you- what tuba do you have, and what inspired you to pick it up? Good choice. Tuba is an awesome instrument, and can play surprisingly fast and high for such a large instrument.
