I went last year, and it was a good time...... featuring bands like ben harper, jack johnson, al green, dwight yoakam, YMSB, steve winwood, REM, spearhead, lots of others... I think this year will have trey anastasio, elvis costello, ben harper, sheryl crow, jack johnson, the pixies...... I dont recall who else.
One day wristbands will be made available if there is enough, but as of now you have to buy three day passes for $75. ACL Fest is gonna rock this year though, I'm definatly headed out all three days, you guys should come.
volunteer, guys and gals! i've done it every year: a 3-hour shift gets you a free pass into the festival for the day and a badass t-shirt. everyone's really friendly, and if you work in the morning, you still get to see all the great bands later on in the day.

yep i will be there. if you see a huge skunky cloud of smoke. i will be right under it. if y'all want to meet up for a session, ill be more than happy to oblige. never seen Trey anastasio or Phish live before and i cant wait......never seen Ben live either.......isnt jimmy vaughn and the fabulous thunderbirds gonna play there?? seen J and the T-birds more times than i like tomention lol.
