Anyone mad/sad about Phish quitting? I am! I'm 13 and only got to go to one of their shows Please give me your views on this
Look, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but there are already 23 other Phish threads in the music forum! (I just counted) Why do people have to keep creating new Phish threads!?! Ok, proceed.
I am not upset that they broke up. I am upset that there will now be several mediocre solo careers as a result of their breaking up. Personally, I can't fucking stand jam-bands. So one less jam-band is good new to me.
they came they played they called it quits. I do regret never seeing them, but I missed bands I liked better.....The Ramones for instance.......but At least they did it their way.
I never got around to seeing them which I really regret, but I do understand their reasons for quiting. I am looking forward to seeing Vida blue and oysterhead tour more reguraly.
I more pissed they just added a show at Hampton Coliseum and didnt annouce it early enough for me to get off work, I like FUCK PHISH right now. Keller will take the jam band scene now, so im not worried...
Phish will always hold a place in my heart. I've been mad/sad and every other emotion since finding out about the break up. I've seen over 40 shows since 94, and I realize that the time had come. we just have to appreciate the fact that they realized it as well. they're just not the same.
Keller Williams kicks ass.... freakerrrrrrrrrrrr by the speakerrrrrrr.... I've met him at a guitar shop in town.
phish was and is and will always be the greatest band to ever take stage. i am dissapointed however in trey and the way he handled the situation. i only saw phish live once too but to me, phish is more than just music, its a way of life.
