I’m using the event of getting my first tattoos as a new beginning of not being embarrassed about my body. I’ve always been embarrassed to show any part of my body. It hard, but I’m finally getting over it. I’ve wanted tattoos since I was a teenager, but was afraid to draw attention to myself, let allow let a tattoo artist focus their undivided attention on my body. On June 8th I’m planning to get two tattoos from an artist my bf recommended. One of the tattoos will be on my right foot. Those of you who have read my other threads will know that I was unsure about this and have now decided to do it. The other, the one I’d originally planned, will be on my butt. I’m very nervous about this one; still I very much want to do it. First, I wanted to ask if anyone had advice on what to except will happen during the tattooing processes and kind of care is needed after that tattooing is done. Second, if I go through with this, and that’s a very big if, should I post pictures of it? My bf will have his camera so I’ll have pictures of the process. I’m only talking about posting very tasteful pictures, nothing dirty. I really want these tattoos, but getting over my embarrassment is hard.
My boyfriend just called me and said that the tattoo artist could get me in TODAY, so I’m going in about a HOUR! Well, this is it. The next time I post I’ll be inked!
Well, I’m now inked! I can’t set down, but I’m happy I did it.I got a tattoo on my butt, and at the time it didn’t hurt as much at the time, but now it’s killing meL.
