fuckin eh! if you want to grab a coffee or a sandwhich when you're in New Brunswick (near the Nova Scotia border), let me know. I can give you a place to sleep for a couple nights too, if you need it.

take the road less travelled, have really good updated maps and try to do as many backroads along the way as you can! Major highways have a way of masking or killing local culture, you'll get a more wholistic picture of canada this way!

We just drove across canada in april, from vancouver to niagara falls, in a vw bus. My advice is to avoid driving at night through northern ontario because of the moose. We thought we'd be safe by driving behind a transport but after stopping for the night, we drove past a rolled over transport and a dead moose in the ditch. Be careful and have fun

you can get those little deer whistles to put on your vehicle. they help warn the wildlife to stay away.

ps, is it rutting season or something? those silly young male mooses can act really wonky sometimes.

hmm my advice would be to stay out of ontario all together...its not so fun
but have fun, and if you do pass through the ontario area we can chill :D
but my advice is to just stay out..
