My husband and I are thinking of taking our son (15 months) to a family-friendly nude resort for the Memorial Day weekend. This will be our first nudist experience and I'm kinda nervous. It will certainly be interesting - especially since my son considers my bared breasts to be an all-you-can-eat buffet! Any tips for a first-timer!
I've never been to a formalized nudist/naturist camp, gathering, etc, but I have been to a couple of nude/clothing optional beaches (betcha can't guess which option we took!). I've also shared nude hot tubbing in mixed company but I don't know if that counts b/c we were all friends. I have wanted to try the first though. From what I've read, seen and heard, you just shed your clothes and be yourself. (you certainly won't need to worry about any adverse reactions if you breast-feed either!) In my beach experience, you can just enjoy it all naturally. People really seem to be outgoing and more relaxed when everyone's naked. I also had a very nice conversation with a topfree woman on an Ohio beach one day. Toplessness is technically legal here but women don't seem to take advantage of it. But that's another thread...
Least your kid will be well fed whatever happens! Anyways I think youll have fun and you shouldnt run into any problems there.
Hi ...why wait until the Memorial Weekend???(just kidding!).. you should not be afraid or agonize over the subject ..it is not worth the trouble ... just drop your clothes and in 5 minutes you are going to be very very confortable. Specially if you have a child ..people love to see families participate. You will not have any problems meeting friends. Please let us know how did it go for you ..and if you ended up with any big concern. Love
Relax and enjoy your self. We go to several nude resorts whcih we love. Its not uncommon to see breastfeeding there. My wife and I just had a child and we look forward to our next trip.
You'll find there's on difficult moment - the moment you first take off your clothes.Within minutes of doing it, you will wonder why you were ever worried. Most friends who we've taken to the beach have arrived not thinking they can get naked at all, but come home feeling completely liberated, not even worrying any more about whether people can see them naked through their house windows, never mind whether they can be naked on a beach full of naked people. And, of course, people who aren't offended by breasts also aren't offended by breastfeeding.
So true, i first took my wife to a clothing optional resort. Told her she didn't have to get naked at all. I was already naked and it wasn't but five minutes until she stripped down naked too. She still talks to this day about that first time, stripping down naked in front of a group of naked guys and how exciting it was to her.
Bnevis, you don't seem to have noticed that the message was posted in 2006. The 15-month old son's in high school now!
