I'm not a female... and I'm vegetarian :), or actually, I'm vegan. All for the enviromental issues and such, and the sickening thought of eating a once live animal, all the while it's causing the downfall of humans, not including the money waisted to keep the business going.

Oh, hell no, it's not wrong... but I've got this weird view where I think there needs to be a little self-suffering to balance out all the other happiness. It's aaaaaaaaaaaaall about balance. I don't really "suffer" from not eating meat anymore... I don't miss it.

And I agree w/ 3littlebirds whole heartedly: if it hurts others, don't fucking do it.

I agree. I've met meat eaters or "Carnies" for short that think if your a vegitarian you eat fish and chicken.........I don't quite understand how they could have come to that conclusion. Better one still I heard someone say that vegitarians only eat things that fall natrally from trees, fruit? nuts? Keith Richards? I think statements like this do diserve a healthly WTF stamped on them as the make little sense.

Keith Richards...BWAHAHAHA...that was a really good one!

LOL Anyway, I often wonder where meat eaters get their information about veg*anism. I mean...do they read this false information somewhere? Do their parents tell them these things? I mean, really...I've often wondered. Because I had someone say in my history class we cannot live without meat...I about laughed my ass off and wondered where she got her information because I've been a veggie for 7 and a half years and I'm still alive!

"I've met meat eaters or "Carnies" for short that think if your a vegitarian you eat fish and chicken"

As has been posted here several times, people who *do* eat chicken and fish and proclaim themselves vegie are largely responsible for this.

I am also male and a vegetarian like many others for around 5 years now. I just don't feel the need to eat animals when there are plenty of tasty alternatives and i find it annoying and hypocritcal to see people loving and finding animals cute then going home and having a big steak or some lamb. I don't frown or feel as though i'm better then those that do eat meat its just a personal choice.

I'm a meat eater, but I respect vegetarians and vegans fully. I have three friends (one of which is male) that are vegans, and although I tease them occasionally, I actually applaud their ability to survive in a very meat-centric world. I think vegetarian/veganism is very healthy if done right. I just have a weakness for eggs and fish... and hamburgers. But I don't think the animals that my meat comes from should be unduly harmed.

And chickens nor cows are that stupid. Chickens, I've read, are about as intelligent as cats.

Lemme see here. I'm 30 y/o a Christian and a vegetarian. My 61 y/o dad is a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor and has been a vegetarian for over 40 years! The majority of the 15 million members of the Seventh-day Adventist church are vegetarians. Health studies have proven that vegans and vegatarians live 10-15 years longer than carnivores.

If you're interested, I have a receipe for vegan curry. It's pretty good with brown rice. :)

I think the main thing to mention is that bacon tastes really good and that meat analogues will never taste at good. You can't spell meat analogue without "anal".

I made a cartoon about my vegetarian girlfriend. Umm well she was my girlfriend at the time. I hope you guys enjoy it. It only goes for 58 seconds

My partner is a vegetarian, 30 year old male. When strangers ask why, he responds that he just isn't interested in killing. Believes all forms of life have some sort of soul, humans being the most complex, animals being the second most or whatever. Just do as little harm as possible, because humans have the capacity to understand the negativity of killing, so it is our duty to stop.

I have a friend who has asked me numerous times if I ate fish. I explained I don't eat anything with a heartbeat. One day he finally decides to become vegetarian but he still eats fish. WTF you aren't vegetarian you a..hole! Why is this so hard to understand? Sometimes I'm tempted to start eating people to lower the stupidity in the world.
