we're still friends and the kid's not old enough to shop yet, so i get to do the buying. any ideas? 20$ and under...
Have the kids make him something. That's all I'm doing. Maddie (7) is making him a book, and Virginia (3) is going to scribble on some paper...
that's a good idea. for mother's day, he and our son put together a hanging basket for me--it's a beach pail full of flowers, very cute. i feel like i have to at least equal that.
Wow, I never buy for fathers day, mothers day, christmas, birthdays, or any time of the year for that matter, but then again I dont have the money.
I'm kinda bored, so I looked around. This looked like a cool, & cheap idea. ..Not sure how much actual time you want to invest in this.http://www.makingfriends.com/gifts/dad_jarsafe.htm
hahahahahahha I like it, he will love it. My daughter still draws me all her cards, she is 12. I would get him a gift card to some semi decent resteraunt (chilis, olive garden) unless you or he is fundamentally against those places. then I recomend a 20 dollar prepaid gas card......EVERYONE (almost) needs gas.....
Well you're in luck, I just happen to know someone who has aquired over 300 hours worth of porn. I bet if you ask really nice he'll give you some for your ex.
I ususally give my ex (we have three kids together) pictures of the kids in cool frames. He always puts them at his desk at work or on his walls at home. Depending on my financial situation the frames might be totally cheapo or they might be $20.
I think pictures from a butterfly garden would be a great father's day present...definitely keeps the focus on the child. I also think it is neat that the ex made sure you got a present on mother's day. if all parents who are no longer in a relationship could keep their egos in check and put that energy into co-parenting there would be a lot more happy children.
