Alas, I am one of the many unlucky people who suffers from allergies. I can't honestly say what it is, though I am thinking hayfever, grass, dust and pet dander (that pretty much names all the culprits?). I take Claritin, but I hate it. I have tried Allium Cepa, and that worked for my nose to stop running, but not to open it up (stuffed). I have an itchy throat on top of that. Is there any homeopathic suggestions? I have heard Parsley is good, but is there something else I could try? Thanks!
If it may be pollen, incorporate two tablespoons of LOCAL honey into your diet a day. The honey will help your body get used to the local pollen!
look into the possibility of food allergies making your symptoms worse. Dairy allergy causes excess mucous and snot-boogers as my kids would say. Any allergy can cause other allergic reactions to be much much worse. Eliminating exposure to any allergens can help tremendously. Start with the things you can control, like any home and body products that contain artificial fragrance or weird chemicals. Work towards eating real food, nothing processed or refined or with unpronounceable ingredients. And see if cutting back on dairy consumption doesn't help in a big way, but give it a month or so to see if it helps or not. And if there's mold in your home, you gotta do something drastic about that. Vacuum regularly, eliminate the possibility of dust mites and pet dander causing your problems. There's lots you can do, but it all involves figuring out the root cause of your allergies, not throwing pills into your body in hopes of alleviating some of the symptoms.
I never had allergies up until about 4 years ago, then they just sprung up on me, I use allegra, it works, I dont get any side effects. Clairiten I think i tried and got a bit dizzy when i was working out in the heat. I cant recall 100% though. Sorry dont know any all natural stuff, Im a slave to big pharma.
Thats OK some people have to be. Zyrtec has been proven to be more effective than Claratyne in many clinical trials.
