I am curious about whether or not anyone here uses a washboard instead of electrical appliances to wash clothes. Where do you find washboards and organic soaps to use?

Okay so I confess I am a cheap dude. I just use a 5 gallon pickel bucket, and a plunger which is the same concept as the Rapid wash, I plunge for 5 minutes and myclothes are amazing. I just hang them up super soaked. but you can get wringers at the same web page as the links you posted

I used to do wash with a 5 gal bucket when I lived on the road Washboard Roads in teh forests (and some rural areas) are fantastic for agitation...of your clothees.

Alicia Bay Laurel notes in Living on the Earth, that twisting clothes around a sapling or thin post works wonders to wring them.

You know seriously, I don't I do a load of laundry in the morning as I make the oats, and then I toss them in another bucket of clean water. I wash those guys the next day. It is usually a tuesday -wednesday project those are my days off. ANd well I had to leave the wringer washer in MI when I moved. I miss it dearly.

even goodwill shit costs money, so my pickel buck was free from subway and the plunger was eight bucks, so hey if I have to do some things by hand, it build charerter.

you know, a lot of motorised washing machines are much more water efficient than handwashing...
