Currently I'm doing 2 projects: I've started knitting my very first sweater - a rather plain one, but that's ok, since it's my first sweater attempt and I've never done cables or anything before. It's for my husband. I'm also about 90% through crocheting a yarn bowl which I'm going to felt for my mom... she saw me with the blue one I have, really likes the style, so I'm making one that's pink and purple for her.
i am knitting a blanket.. will either be a "breast feeding screen" blanket or a "cuddle on the couch" blanket. Depends on how long it takes me to get bored with it. This is my mindless knitting project... one i don't have to think about while doing. Kinda close your eyes and knit sort of thing. I am also making a lap-gan (small afgan) for a friend's nephew. Its got the Saskatchewan Roughriders logo on it (matches the "football bag" in another post of mine or is in my gallery if you don't know the Roughrider's logo off hand and don't finish your sentances with "eh".) This project takes much more thought and concentration. When it is done I will line it with green fleece for extra warmth to keep him warm during the games.
Well I'm crocheting a custom dread beanie for someone in Melbourne Australia~ I hope I finish soon, so i can move onto a new project!! I'll post a pic when I am through! Okay, so it's a day later, and I am finished. Here is a pic!! I hope She will like it!!!
