Gary Coleman convicted of having sex with young boys.

A Bronx public school teacher was found guilty Friday of sodomizing and sexually abusing three young boys.

Gary Coleman, 52, faces up to 14 years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 23, the Bronx district attorney's office said.

The attacks occurred at Intermediate School 158, the Morrisania school where Coleman taught math, or at a community center where he coached a neighborhood basketball team, the district attorney's office said.

Two of the victims were Coleman's students, and all three were on the basketball team, the DA's office said. He paid each of his victims — a 12-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys — $20 to $200 for sexual favors.

The incidents, which occurred in the first five months of 2003, came to light that June when the boys told Coleman they wanted to play basketball for another team. The announcement infuriated Coleman, who yelled at the victims so abusively that another coach questioned the boys about the outburst.

A subsequent investigation revealed the abuse.

Gym teachers are always so weird..... That's what he was, right? My old gym coach used to smile and lick his lips every time he saw me alone in the hall way. That was fucked up.

 

hahaha... this gym teacher used to force me to shake hands with him every time he entered class or I saw him. Then this one used to like.. make weird faces at me

 

i spent junior high being violated by gym teachers and other members of the faculty..yuckies!

but it was mostly the gym teachers

 

you know, every time you hear something like that where a MIDGET or a priest molested a 14 year old boy, you have to think, would the boy be able to stop it, and tell someone and not be retarded and go along with it, knowing its wrong.
