If I'm correct the new cell from verizon don't allow you to use your own mp3 for a ringtone. Go to phonescoop.com they may be able to help you out more. You got to trick your cell. About 3 months ago I sent my self a picture with with mp3 sound in the background and as soon as it played you had to save it on your cell in order to use it as a ring tone but now verizon stopped it. If you find out how to do it let me know.

Try this instead. It's made for Sprint phones, but I have a Cingular phone and it works just fine with it. You don't need to know anything about port numbers to use it.
